One of the first articles I submitted on this site was on how to to get a copy of the best annual summary of motorcycle roadracing on the planet: MotoCourse This annual wrap up of MotoGP, World Superbike, AMA Superbike, British Superbike, Isle of Man and even Sidecars has some of the best writing and photographs of everything roadracing. The inside stories, especially as it applies to technology are very informative.

This is the 30th year of publication and personally I’ve been collecting these since 1992. I even bought back issue to 1988 so that I would have Kevin Schwantz’s entire GP career documented. Maybe someday I collect all the way back to the beginning (do the math).

At this time last year I was finding it difficult to locate the 2004-2005 version due to a change in distributors. My usual sources of Amazon and Barnes and Noble dried up. I was able, through the internet, to locate a company in Canada called LanTec Books who promised to be able to supply my addiction. About 3 weeks after my phone call and credit card debit, the object of my perpetual desire showed up on my doorstep. So this year I decided to order the “usual”. Once again, it took about a month this time, I’ve gotten my fix for the very reasonable price of $39.95 (plus $10 S&H).

If you are at all into roadracing, this book should be on your coffee table. The photos alone are worth the price of admission. Need your own copy?
