Rubber Side Down - FINALLY!

After about five and a half years of no track days (crashed the last two times in 2001), I ventured out to my first today.  A couple of things:

  • I had an absolute ball.
  • The SV650 is a great bike.
  • I didn’t crash.
  • It took a while to get back in the groove.
  • I still made a few mistakes.
  • I took some Advil when I got home.
  • Its not that late but I’m still going to bed.
  • I’m beat.
  • I’m old.
  • I’m sore.
  • I had the best time in many months!

I’ll elaborate more over the next few days, but its sleepy time right now.

“Old”?? Young whippersnapper! I have riding clothes that are old than you are…and I still wear ‘em!

That’s pretty cool stuff. I’m not one for much self-love…err…you know what I mean, self-love with photographs! I like photos of road trips, like the ones of me and this clown I ride with from time to time named MM when we went to Utah that are still on my desk from about three years ago. Photos of track days are cool, and I have one from 2001 on my R1, but I’ll probably pass on these.

Go in thorught the site home page:

and nevigate through there. I too had a problem where the thumbnails would not open.
