Roadrace Fans - Huge Sunday on SPEED

While I like to denigrate Speed channel for their heavy emphasis on NASCAR and waning emphasis on motorcycle roadracing, I have to give credit for this weekend.
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! —- is going to be primetime for the AMA and MotoGP series.
2pm - AMA Superbike Race #1 from Birmingham, Alabama (taped from Sat.)
3pm - AMA Supersport Race from Birmingham, Alabama (live)
4pm - AMA Superbike Race #2 from Birmingham, Alabama (live)
5pm - GP 250 from Istanbul, Turkey (same day tape-delayed)
6pm - MotoGP from Istanbul, Turkey (same day tape-delayed)
These are EST, your times may vary (check local listings).
If you miss ‘em ’cause you’re out riding or something, the MotoGP races will be rebroadcast on Monday (believe it or not) and the AMA races (with the inclusion of Formula Xtreme) will be in the usual Tuesday time slots.
Whether you are ready to park your butt on the couch for 5 solid hours or use your TiVO/DVR to watch at your convenience, this is the day! Both series are well underway with no clearcut winners and everything to prove.
By the way, if you missed the WSB and WSS races this past weekend, you missed some seriously wild and entertaining stuff. The last 2 laps of WSB Race 2 was a real fight with multiple passes between several riders, and in the WSS race a guy named Nanelli was sliding both ends and trying to get high-sided in almost every turn for the last 10 laps.
Come on Nicky, put it back up at the pointy end! Those damn Brit announcers are starting to rub off on me …… “he’s been RELEGATED to second position” ;-(

I was thinking the exact same thing about SPEED when I previewed the Sunday schedule last night - 5 hours! I will have to start bithching a little less, however Tuesday was a pretty good ‘off’ day to have it ours. Funny though, the one thing I have noticed is that there is no adjustment for the PST folks. I would get home from work and Corbin’s show was already on.
I even watched the WSBK last weekend and its was CRACKING!
