It’s Better to Stay in Your Lane than Split Lanes That one really suprised me. Here is a non-rider myth I heard: “Riding in the rain will ruin a motorcycle and is extremely dangerous.”

13. Stunting in traffic shows drivers how cool you are.

I definitely agree with #2 and used to argue the topic to death with some Harley guys I used to know. Loud pipes do nothing but leave a trail of noise and do nothing at all to warn approaching vehicles.

I don’t know if I buy into the lane splitting myth though even though I split lanes here in California. I do it primarily to get where I’m going and because sitting in traffic is for caged up suckers!
