This weekend was to be a happy weekend for the wife and I.  Unfortunately Saturday morning we heard about Aaron Clark having a bad accident at PPIR in Colorado.  If you would like to follow what is going on and maybe make a donation to help Arron and his wife Tedi with medical expenses, feel free to go over to getwellclarkie.com to help out.

Aaron Clark - AKA: Clarkie

For thoese who do not know, Aaron Clarke is a New Zelandar transplant who has been racing in the USA for the better part of 8 years.  He came over to run the Aprillia Cup and other racing series.  In the past few years Aaron has been racing in the UtahSBA’s series up at Miller Motorsports Park.   Aaron had just wrapped up wth 2008 MOM championship for the second year in a row.

At this time, Aaron is at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs.  The reports say that he has broken his pelvis, injured one of his legs that has required surgery and the worst part, a closed head injury.  Aaron is currently in a medicaly induced coma while he recovers for the next few days.

It will be a long road to recovery for Aaron, but he has come back from other injuries.  Aaron has a motorcycle business moto-garage and has been helping his brother in law Scott Jensen for his AMA 2008 season.
